MOISTURISE
Nourishing your leather shoes with a quality cream is an essential to keep leather shoes and leather boots looking their best, feeling their best and lasting the longest! At Mischief Shoes, after years of testing, we believe Woly's Leather Balm to be one of the best and great value for use on all your leather accessories, even leather furniture! It is colourless and easy to apply. Simply apply with a soft cloth, wait a few minutes allowing to dry and buff to your desired level of shine. It cleans, moisturises and protects in one go without any colours to consider!

PROTECT
Delicate leather finishes, lighter colours, chalky or dull finishes and suedes need protection from spills, splashes and dirt. Mischief Shoes recommends and stocks Wrens Total Protector for water and stain protection for all these leather types or if you are unsure about what other product to use. Properly applied it will add protection from moisture, dirt and grime. This environmentally friendly spray improves the protection of fabrics as well as leather. Mischief Shoes’ hot tip is to spray on in 3 consecutive lighter applications allowing a minute between each, not one heavy spray as many mistakenly think will be better. The layering effect of the spray creates a far more effective barrier to moisture and dirt and uses less product overall!

ALTERNATE
Leather boots and shoes need to 'breathe'. Your feet and legs also need to feel different 'pressure points', elevations and surfaces on a regular basis. At Mischief Shoes we advise not to wear the same pair of footwear consistently on consecutive days. Leather is a natural material that will absorb moisture including your foot’s perspiration. It is one reason it keeps your feet feeling so good during wear. So, at Mischief Shoes we advise you to rest your leather shoes and boots allowing the insides to 'breathe' after a day's wear and make sure the inside of the shoe feels dry before you wear them again (24 hours is usually sufficient). Do not use artificial heat however as many parts of modern shoes use heat activated components and glues. Excessive heat will damage the leather fibres in a similar way to delicate cloth fibres being put in tumble driers etc...
